How does your entire Beach Photography process work?
The entire process is very easy on your budget and your family! Everything is included in the $399 fee. First you want to call us and setup a time and date for your beach photography session! You can also book it yourself online from our website.
After you have confirmed the beach photography session, plan on being at the agreed location a few minutes early in order to have plenty of time for pictures. If you want any retouched images, pick out the images from the download you would like retouched by marking them as your favorites. Let us know you have picked your images and we will start the process which is generally completed within 14 days or less.
Where do we meet to do the Beach Photography session?
If we are not coming to your location, we generally encourage you to go to our favorite beach, Fish Haul Beach Park. Please meet us at 120 Mitchellville Rd. Fish Haul Beach Park is a very special area that has free parking, bathrooms and a Pier. Mitchellville Rd is located on the North end of the island near the Hilton Head Island Airport. It is approximately 2 miles from Port Royal Plantation, 3.0 miles from Palmetto Dunes Plantation, 5 Miles from Sea Pines Plantation and 7 Miles from North and South Forest Beach Dr. and Coligny Plaza. We can meet you at your home or beach your Condo or Hotel for no additional location fee.
Why do you prefer Fish Haul Beach Park to do Beach Photography?
We have walked, biked or worked on almost every inch of Hilton Head Island. We choose to do Beach Photography at Fish Haul Beach Park for so many reasons! First of all it is an undeveloped beach so it still has 60ft trees and shade! On the weekends it is usually busier than the weekdays. Fish Haul Beach Park is one of the few beaches on Hilton Head that has a pier. Most of the piers on Hilton Head are privately owned and unaccessible. Getting great family pictures near the pier is a must have! It also has a nice rock pile depending on the tide and a salt marsh area with lots of ghost crabs and reed grass.
What do we do if it rains?
We always set aside times during the week to reschedule families because of bad weather. If the weather is not cooperating on the day of your scheduled beach photography session we can reschedule for another time that is convenient for you. Unless we directly call you to reschedule your beach photography session, plan on being at our agreed location on time and ready to take pictures. The weather on Hilton Head is absolutely unpredictable so don't count on the weather man knowing much. The difference between the temperature of the air on the land and the temperature of the air on the water will cause storm systems to do funny things like stall or change direction.
